Day 1 : India to Hanoi

Assemble at Kolkata International Airport by 10:00pm to board flight to Hanoi.

Overnight at transit.

Day 2 : Reach Hanoi - Hanoi City Tour

Reach Hanoi very early in the morning and post visa & immigration formalities, transfer to your hotel. The morning is free for you to take rest and be ready for the city tour in the second half of the day. Later in the afternoon, go for a half day of Hanoi city tour. Start the tour on to beautiful Tran Quoc Pagoda located on the shores of Lake West and visit to Ho Chi Minh complex (Ticket is self paid). The next place to move to is One Pillar Pagoda followed by the Temple of Literature (Ticket is self paid).  Later in the evening, visit the Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets - This bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It’s a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities. You can spend the evening experiencing some great street food that Hanoi has to offer (mostly non-vegeterian – however we do have some vegetarian suggestions for you too.)

Day 3 : Hanoi - Ha Long Bay Cruise

After breakfast, departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (165 km east of Hanoi). Enjoy landscape of the Red River Delta countryside and have a short break on the halfway. Arrive at the Halong tourist pier by noon and embark on board. Enjoy welcome drink and check in cabins. Have lunch Vietnamese Set Menu while cruising through magnificent Ha Long Bay, admire the fascinating formation on the way. You will cruise through World Nature Heritage Halong Bay, passing bizarre rock formations, such as the Dinh Huong (the Incense Urn), Cho Da (the Stone Dog), islands with sandy beaches and Ga Choi (the Fighting Roosters) islets. Indulge in some activities such as swimming, kayaking, caving etc throughout the afternoon. Join the sunset party on the sundeck in warm and romantic atmosphere, drinking wine, enjoy fresh local fruit,  listening soft, light music from the sundeck bar. Post dinner you can relax or go for some squid fishing activity too.

Overnight at Ha Long Bay. (B/L/D)     

Day 4 : Ha Long Bay Cruise - Return to Hanoi

Start your day with Tai Chi exercise or photo hunt. After morning tea/coffee with some cookies/snacks, cruise to Titov island. Go swimming and relaxing at the beach of Titov or climb up to the top of the island for a panoramic view of Halong Bay. After having a traditional Vietnamese brunch on board, disembark the cruise and head for your return journey to Hanoi City. Reach Ha Noi by afternoon and continue exploring the Hanoi city for the rest of the afternoon/evening. Afternoon Hanoi tour starts visiting the Temple of Literature and the Ethnology museum. Then move to the West Lake and pay a visit to the oldest pagoda Tran Quoc. Continue drive to Hoan Kiem Lake and the French Quarter (Old Quarter Hanoi), visit Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge and Ma May ancient house. End the tour with a cup of coffee or tea at an authentic Hanoi corner cafe where you can have talks with local people, exchange cultural way of life.

Day 5 : Full Day Hoa Lu, Tam Coc Tour

After breakfast, a couple hours’ drive outside of Hanoi will head deep into Vietnam’s picturesque countryside. Discover Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam during the Dinh and Le dynasties, before taking a sampan trip down the Tam Coc River. Also called the ‘Halong Bay on Land,’ this region is famous for its charming grottoes and limestone karst mountains which often looks like mysterious caves. Spend the whole day appreciating the natural beauty of the ancient capital and the countryside of Vietnam. Return to hotel by evening.

Day 6 : Hanoi to India

Very early morning transfer to the airport to board your return flight to Kolkata.
