Day 1 : Reach Dibrugarh/Tinsukia – Transfer to Wakro via Namsai
Reach Dibrugarh/Tinsukia as per your flight/train timing and get received by our representative. Start your journey for the mystic land of Arunachal Pradesh. While crossing Assam, feel greeted by the vast expanse of the tea gardens. Some of the best quality of tea is produced here and is exported worldwide. Get your ILP checked at the state border to enter Arunachal Pradesh and continue to Namsai. The popular Golden Pagoda is located at Namsai. The splendid golden pagoda built in the Thai/Burmese style sits majestically amidst a beautiful landscaped garden surrounded by lush greenery and exudes peace and serenity. Within the golden pagoda is housed a beautiful gilded statue of Buddha which is modelled on the kala Buddha of Nalanda archive. Continue further to Wakro and upon reaching, check in to your hotel/homestay. Later in the evening, we will have an experience of a typical Mishmi tribal home atmosphere where we will have tribal dinner.

Day 2 : Tezu/Wakro to Walong
After breakfast, start your journey for Walong. Walong is the nearest town to Dong Village which is known to get the first sunrays in India. Drive through the extreme north-eastern part of India while appreciating the beauty in abundance and negotiating the rugged terrains at places. Stop at several places to click photographs and to embrace the nature of the far eastern corner of India. Reach Walong by late afternoon/evening and check in to the guest house. Today we will have an early dinner and go to bed early as we will have to wake up very early in the morning the following day to trek for a few km to experience the first sunrise of India.

Day 3 : Sunrise at Dong Valley – Kaho & Kibithu Tour
Start at 2 am from the guest house to trek for a couple of hours to reach the easternmost point of India – The Dong village. The trek is one of its kind adventure where you walk through the hills, foot bridges and beaten paths through the darkness of the night guided by the light of a torch and a local person who knows the place inside out. Upon reaching the vantage point, wait for the mesmerizing sunrise and keep your cameras ready to click the mountain peaks changing their colour as the sun rays become brighter. Return to the guest house after experiencing the sunrise and have your breakfast. Later in the day, go for an excursion from Walong to visit the first village of India – Kaho and drive through the easternmost motorable road of India at Kibithu. Return to you accommodation by late afternoon/evening.

Day 4: Walong to Tinsukia/Dibrugarh
We depart from Walong in the morning after breakfast and embark on a long return journey to Tinsukia. Bid adieu to the hills of Arunachal and enter Assam – the land of tea gardens. Reach Tinsukia/Dibrugarh by evening and check in to your hotel for a good night’s sleep with the great feeling of travelling to the extreme east of India.

Day 5: Dibrugarh Airport Drop
Depending on your flight timing, transfer to the Dibrugarh airport to board flight back to your home or your onward destination. (B)

Payment Terms:
- 60% of package amount should be made at the time of confirmation. The remaining 40% must be made at least 1 month before the commencement of the journey. Amount for flight ticket has to be paid in full at the time of confirmation.
- Payments should be made in favor of 3rd Planet Tours with cheque, online transfer or cash to an authorized person of 3rd Planet Tours against a valid money receipt.

- For any cancellation, the actual flight cancellation charge + 50% of the remaining package amount will be charged if cancellation is done at least 1 months prior to the commencement of the journey.
